Prayer Ministry

We believe in the power of God through prayer. We have a dedicated Prayer Team that champions our prayer life as a community and encourages all of us to make prayer a daily part of our lives. The team offers a variety of ways for those who have a heart for prayer to serve.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Are you a knitter? This is a loving ministry of prayer and creativity. People pray for God’s hope and healing for someone in special circumstances as they knit a prayer shawl that will be offered to the person as a gift. When the person wraps the shawl around his or her shoulders, they are literally covered by prayer—and by the knowledge that someone has been holding them in prayer with every knit and purl of beautiful yarn. Contact Danielle Schmidt, 503.848.8070 for additional information.
