Music is a major part of our worship life. On Sunday mornings the Music Team leads us in song and offers special music to inspire our worship.
The team rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm and serves on a rotational basis. The repertoire includes music by leading Christian songwriters of today, as well as some of the great inspirational hymns of our Christian tradition.
Other opportunities to serve include a seasonal choir (e.g. Christmas, Easter) and administrative support (sheet music filing and organization).
Communion is a celebration of the Lord’s Supper. The Communion Team serves to
set up and clean up for our celebrations of the Lord’s Supper twice a month, as well
as special events (e.g. Ash Wednesday Easter, and Christmas Eve services).
Opportunities to serve include:
Tech and multimedia offer a way for people to serve who love to be involved but behind the scenes.
Volunteers serve Sundays on a rotational basis. Tasks and training are available for any level of experience. We are glad to provide training for those without experience who desire to learn and take part. Our Tech Team and Multimedia Ministry are an integral part of our worship life and special events. Opportunities to serve include:
Sundays 9:15 - 11:45 AM
Parents with children from newborn to age three are invited to bring their
little ones to the nursery during worship. This safe, warm, colorful place is
staffed by trained, caring adults who have a heart for babies and small children.
Nursery care is offered during our 9:30 Am service and 10:45 AM Faith Conversations hour on Sunday mornings and at all church- wide events.
We are blessed with a great, loving team!
Coffee & Treats Hospitality
Our Coffee & Treats Hospitality Team provides a warm, friendly cup of coffee or tea to encourage new connections and good conversations. They also help to organize and set up Sunday refreshments (treats!)—so the rest of us can enjoy time together after worship in the Commons Café. The team serves on rotation; look for weekly sign up sheets in the Commons.
